Our Team.

We are a group of students committed to digital privacy. Thanks to Dr. Blaze's class ("Privacy and Surveillance Tech"), we have learned a lot about how our privacy is viewed in digital spaces. We have deeply explored topics such as privacy legislation and surveillance technologies.

As part of our project, we thoroughly investigated the idea of ​​governments imposing backdoors on VPNs. After analyzing its implications, we decided to create this website with an educational focus: we want to explain, in a clear and accessible way, what VPNs and backdoors are, what it means to necessarily add the latter to the earlier, why we should all care, case studies, and ethical implications.
